Noticing how often we abandon our own needs in an effort to meet other’s. People-pleasing happens through a thousand tiny pokes—little moments that slowly teach us to look outward before we look within.

This piece is about noticing those moments. The expectations we carry. The ways we bend, adjust, accommodate, and sometimes lose sight of ourselves in the process. What is the motivation?

A new day— taking the time to put our own oxygen mask on first, so that we can give from our essence, not our excess.
