Still Becoming

An unfinished portrait as a metaphor for becoming.

Parts of the face are carefully drawn, while other parts dissolve into loose marks and layers of color—left intentionally incomplete. The unfinished lines are not missing pieces; they represent the parts of ourselves that are still being discovered.

We are never quite finished. We learn, we unlearn, we question what we thought we knew, and we find new ways of seeing ourselves and one another. Sometimes growth means adding something new. Sometimes it means letting something go.

Still Becoming is a reminder that there is no final, perfect version of ourselves waiting to be completed. There are only better understandings, new perspectives, and the ongoing work of becoming who we are.

The unfinished drawing is intentional: a reflection of the idea that we are continually learning, unlearning, and discovering better versions of ourselves.
